Everyday Opportunities to Help

There are many ways to designate MCS as a recipient of funds that come from your everyday purchases. These ways include:

Sign up for a Good Food Store scrip account.
The Good Food Store generously partners with organizations like MCS to create a win-win fundraising opportunity.  Families simply purchase their groceries they would normally purchase and MCS receives 3% of all sales.  Sign up in the MCS office and within two weeks you will be notified of your account number.  Families can deposit money into their GFS account and then pay for their groceries using this account OR simply state that the transaction should be on their scrip account at the register before paying for groceries.  The cashier will deposit the amount due into your account and then immediately take it back out to pay for your groceries.  It is VERY easy to do!

Bring in your empty ink and toner cartridges
Any empty ink or toner cartridge can be recycled for Staple credit.  Drop your empty cartridges in the office at MCS.  We can turn in  10 per month for credit, and boy do we use it!
Bring in Boxtops for Education and Labels for Education
Watch your labels for Boxtops for Education and Labels for Education.  Clip the labels and place them in the collection box at MCS.  Every quarter a wonderful MCS volunteer will turn in the labels and MCS will receive a donation.

Label your child’s gear with Mabel’s Labels
Mabel’s Labels are personalized labels for your children’s belongings to help make sure their things always get returned.  Mabel’s Labels are dishwasher and laundry safe and are made in different styles to fit for lunch containers, water bottles, shoes, clothing, backpacks and luggage.  Just visit Mabel’s Labels at this link, select “Missoula Community School” from the list of schools, place your order, and support the school.  Lose less belongings and support the school?  Talk about the ultimate win-win situation!
Donate now!
Of course, at any time, you can donate via check, cash, or online with your credit card via PayPal. We are still collecting for donations for our Refugee Scholarship fund. Please specify in the memo line or in person if your donation is for the Refugee Scholarship fund.

There are many non-monetary everyday opportunities to help available to MCS parents and community members as well.
