School Year Programs

During the regular school year (roughly the last week of August through the first week of June, view our Calendar for exact dates) we offer the following programs:

  • Early Childhood
This creative, community-oriented program serves pre-school children (aged 2 – 4 years old at the start of the year).  Children’s different learning styles and talents are valued and supported by nurturing teachers. Developmentally appropriate curriculum weaves learning into daily routines.  Children grow in self confidence through joyful play and care.  Children must be 2 by the start of the school year (late August). Early Childhood students may be enrolled on full-week (Mon. – Fri.) or part-week schedules (typically Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs).
  • Pre-K Class room!
This multi-age program serves 4/5 year old children (who turn 5 years prior to December 31st of that school year).  Our engaging, individualized curriculum emphasizes problem-solving; understanding of number, literacy, and science skills; creative arts; physical education; and connections to the Missoula community.  Support for social and emotional development provides a nurturing foundation for the class.  Children have time for projects and play.  Pre-K is offered either 3, 4 or 5 days per week
